SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – After a two-month break between seasons, the 16 young Three Rivers Youth Theater Program actors started their 2024 season with improv activities and a table read of scripts. Their next performance is called Showbiz Through the Decades, which includes a montage of skits from the twentieth century, including Charlie Chaplin, I Love Lucy, Mama’s Family, Kermit the Frog, Happy Days and Golden Girls, to name a few. The Showbiz Through The Decades performance will be on April 20 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Building.

Three Rivers also has full-length performances scheduled for August and November of 2024. If you want to support these young actors, please donate to the Three Rivers Youth Theater Fund facilitated by the Hinton Area Foundation. The group also have a need for costumes for each skit, so if you could help with those, reach out to the theater director, Lisa Ann Colombo, or assistant director, Cheryl Kula, who is putting together a list of needs.
