HINTON, W.Va. — A Pipestem man faces 21 additional charges following the latest session of the Summers County grand jury.
Matthew Keaton, 30, was indicted on six counts of first-degree sexual abuse, five counts of second-degree sexual abuse, four counts of criminal invasion of privacy, three counts of strangulation, one count of possession of child pornography, one count of production of child pornography and one count of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian.
The latest indictments involve allegations from three additional individuals, bringing the reported number of alleged victims connected to the investigation to 10.
Keaton was previously indicted by a Mercer County grand jury on Oct. 13, 2022, on charges of first-degree sexual assault, first-degree sexual abuse and strangulation.
The earliest allegation against Keaton dates to May 2010. According to a criminal complaint, Keaton, who was 18 at the time, allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl at a drive-in theater in Lerona. In several other cases, investigators allege Keaton drugged women before strangling and sexually abusing them.
Keaton is currently being monitored through home confinement.
