PRINCETON, W.Va. (The Hinton News) — Brent Loper & The All Star Band will take the stage at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2026, delivering a high-energy, authentic country music experience rooted in tradition, musicianship and storytelling.
Loper, a Nashville-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, came to music after a promising football career came to an unexpected end. That turning point led him to the stage, where he spent two years touring globally with the contemporary Christian band Truth, performing more than 600 shows and discovering a passion for songwriting and live performance.
Since relocating to Nashville in 2016, Loper has built a respected career as both an artist and songwriter, collaborating with industry legends including Vince Gill, Steve Dorff, Jim Rushing, Anthony Smith, Waylon Payne, Wood Newton and Craig Campbell. His performance resume includes touring as drummer for Joey + Rory, appearances in film and television, participation in the stage debut of Pure Country and a national performance on Huckabee.
Loper leads The All Star Band, a tight-knit group of elite musicians who have performed alongside icons such as Wynonna, Clint Black, Alison Krauss and Josh Turner. Together, they bring a live show built on energy, authenticity and crowd-connecting moments that resonate with traditional country fans and modern audiences alike.
The Princeton performance comes as Loper approaches a major career milestone in 2026 — the release of a new song co-written with Gill, cementing his place among Nashville’s top songwriters.
