SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – Free hot Thanksgiving meals with turkey and all the fixings will again be available to Summers County residents. Those who place orders will have meals delivered on Thanksgiving Day.
This is a project that outgrew its start by the Episcopal Church and is now coordinated by the Lewis Community Center in Oak Hill along with many churches, businesses and individuals.
This will be the 22nd annual meal preparation and they will be putting together 3000 dinners to celebrate Thanksgiving.
To receive a meal, you need to call and place an order. Please order ASAP as the number of meals is limited.
The numbers to call are 304-660-7073 or 304-466-4490. To leave a message, organizers need your name, complete address, phone and number of dinners needed. Also, leave any special directions to your home.
A happy Thanksgiving to all!
