Shayne Luke Wilson and "Zeke"

UNION W.Va. (Hinton News) – A Virginia man is missing in the Union area. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:

“On Friday, August 2, 2024, Senior Trooper L. A. Evans received a missing person complaint from Alisa Wilson. Mrs. Wilson advised she dropped her son, 32 year old Shayne Luke Wilson of Dinwiddie, Virginia, off in Union, W.Va. as he planned to hike north along the Allegheny Trail on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Mrs. Wilson advised her son was seen three days later on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in Union, WV by her husband, Jonathan Wilson. Mrs. Wilson advised her son has not been seen or heard from since. Senior Trooper Evans has initiated an investigation and entered Shayne Lukes Wilson into NCIC as a missing person. This investigation remains active and ongoing.”

 

Additionally, the dog in the photo is believed to be with Wilson. The dog’s collar is labeled with the name “Zeke.”
