Peterstown, W.Va. (The Hinton News) – For the past 13 years, C&C Diner has been serving up homemade meals and warm
hospitality to the community.
Owned and operated by Connie Broyles, the small diner has
become a local gathering place where customers are treated like family.
Located in Peterstown, C&C Diner offers a variety of menu items, including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, and pizza.
Many of the meals are prepared from scratch, giving customers the comfort of home-cooked food in a welcoming atmosphere.
One of Connie’s favorite aspects of owning a diner is meeting new people and getting to know the many customers who walk through her doors. She especially enjoys welcoming
veterans and hearing their stories. After losing her husband and son four years ago, Connie began a fund to help provide meals for veterans. The program has received support from many veterans who have donated the cause, allowing her to continue giving back to those who have served.
In addition to supporting veterans, Connie is dedicated to creating opportunities for local youth. She believes in giving school-aged students a chance to enter the workforce and gain valuable experience through honest work. Today, the diner employs two cooks, one waitress, and four local students who work various schedules.
Connie cares deeply about her diner and its customers; she says that “God has blessed me with so many wonderful people. In return, I get to sit with them, listen to their stories, and they are my blessing.”
C&C Diner is open six days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. Through good food, community connections, and a heart for service, Connie has created more
than just a restaurant. She has built a place where people gather and feel at home.
