SUMMERS COUNTY (Hinton News) – The Battle of the Border (WV/VA) football scrimmages will now be held at Summers County High School at Garten Stadium on Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12.
The event was originally scheduled to be played at Spartan Stadium, but the new turf will not be completed at that time.
Spartan football thanks Summers County head coach Josh Evans and his staff for graciously stepping up to host the event.
Greenbrier East will scrimmage Graham (VA) on August 12 at 1:00 PM and then face James Monroe at 3:30 that same day.
