HINTON, (Hinton News) – The season is over for the Bobcats boy’s basketball team after falling to #2 Bluefiled in sectional play. Bluefield – 79, Summers County – 49. Brandan Isaac led the scoring, bringing in 18 points. Cruz Testerman added 14. The team closes out the season with an 11-11 record.
This event marked the final game as Bobcats for seven seniors. In a Facebook post speaking about the seniors, officials with Summers County Boys Basketball stated, “We would like to express our gratitude to them for their commitment to our program. They have shown a strong work ethic and demonstrated high character throughout their time on our team.”
