SUMMERS COUNTY, (Hinton News) – Both the Bobcats and the Lady Bobcats faced off in separate games on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
The Lady Bobcats went up against Wyoming East but unfortunately did not secure the win. Gracie Harvey scored 13, Abby Persinger scored 6, Liv Meador scored 5, Avery Lilly scored 4, and Sullivan Pivont scored 2. The game ended with Summers County 30 and Wyoming East 53. Additionally, the JV Lady Bobcats team also played Wyoming East with a final score of Summers County 22 and Wyoming East 47.
On the other side of the Bobcat basketball court, the boy’s team took the victory over Man High School. The game ended with an outstanding score, Summers County 72, Man High 26. Cruz Testerman led the score with 18 points with Brandan Isaac adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. Ryan Oliveros scored 11 points. Additionally, the JV team went up against the Hillbillies, crushing their opponent 61 to 37.
