The fire danger level for the entire area of Summers County on Sunday, April 24 is high. Use extreme caution with any flame.
The West Virginia Division of Forestry says, “Outdoor burning should be restricted to early morning and late evening hours.” Additionally, WVDF says when the danger level is high, “All fine dead fuels ignite readily and fires start easily from most causes. Unattended brush and campfires are likely to escape.”
