REACHH-FRC has announced that they are now enrolling families for the “Summers County Parents as Teachers Program.” This is a literacy-based program for families with young children.

According to the announcement, the program is an in-house family visitation program. It includes several activities, storytime and interactions for the parent and child. Certified Parent Educators from REACHH utilize this program to help families connect with the resources they need. In addition, they help address any concerns the family may have. This includes local resources and behavioral and developmental concerns. They also help with “community recreational activities and events.”

This program welcomes all families, including Prenatal and children up to five years of age.

For more information on this program or to enroll, contact REACHH-FRC at 304-466-2226. Ask to speak with either Jennifer Adkins or Jeff Davis.
