On June 27, the Summers County Commissioners showed their appreciation by hosting the 4-H All-Stars and 4-H Camp Counselors for a picnic and pool party.
The 4-H All-Stars built a new Council Circle following blueprints and guidance from other counties. The Summers County Commission provided the materials for the project through taxpayer funding. The 4-H Camp Counselors gave up a week of their time to oversee the yearly Summers County 4-H Camp.
Without the volunteers providing these services the Council Circle and 4-H Camp would not have been possible.
