SUMMERS COUNTY, W.Va. (Hinton News) – Main Street Hinton, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of its Inaugural Trades Scholarship and Nursing Scholarship for senior students at Summers County High School.

Joshua Okes has been awarded the MSH Trades Scholarship in the amount of $2,500 Josh plans to attend New River Community & Technical College to pursue a career as an auto and diesel mechanic.  

Saigan Sims and Cadence Richmond have each received the MSH Nursing Scholarship in the amount of $2,500. Cadence plans to attend Bluefield State College to pursue a career in Sonography. Saigan will be attending WVU this fall in the Health and Science Program in pursuit of a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

MSH hopes that these scholarships will help all these students to achieve their educational and career goals.
