The city of Hinton announced that the Public Works Department is currently undergoing a new project. They are working on creating a river access road at the Bellepoint River Access between the two bridges.
According to the announcement, there will be no vehicle access until further notice while the area is under construction. However, the area will continue to be accessible on foot.
As stated in the announcement, the purpose of this new road is to provide access to put kayaks and boats into the water.
