Per the Summers County Sheriff’s Social Media on Saturday:
This afternoon, Deputy Withrow responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the Fox Addition area of Summers County.
During the course of the investigation, Deputy Withrow made contact with Cassondra Wood.
Further investigation revealed that Ms. Wood was listed as a Fugitive from Justice and was wanted by authorities in the Commonwealth of Virginia in connection with felony narcotics-related charges. Ms. Wood was taken into custody without incident.
She will be transported to the Southern Regional Jail, where she will remain pending extradition proceedings.
Summers County is not the place for you to hide from justice.
As with all criminal matters, Ms. Wood is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
