MONROE COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – The Monroe County Commission has launched a Flood Damage Reporting Portal to assist in assessing the impact of the recent flooding disaster that occurred on the evening of Saturday, February 15, 2025. Residents who experienced flood-related damage are encouraged to submit a report through this portal to help local and state authorities understand the extent of the devastation.

The portal, available at https://shorturl.at/HDebR, allows residents to provide detailed descriptions of their property damage and upload photos for documentation. Please note that this portal is for damage assessment purposes only and is not an application for financial assistance.

Why Reporting Matters:

  • Submitting damage reports helps officials evaluate the full impact of the flooding.
  • Information gathered will be used to support emergency response efforts and potential future assistance programs.
  • Accurate data is crucial for Monroe County’s ability to advocate for state and federal disaster relief resources.

All Monroe County residents who have experienced flood damage are strongly encouraged to report their losses through the portal as soon as possible.

For additional assistance or questions, residents may contact the Monroe County Office of Emergency Management at 304-772-3911.
