HINTON W.Va. (Hinton News) – From late fall of 2023 to the start of 2024, Hinton Area Foundation has added new funds that will support the community. The newest funds added to the Foundation are The Wynes Facility for Children and Families, Inc. Fund and the John and Betty Hendrick Fund (formerly John and Betty Hendrick Scholarship Fund).
Collaborating with Malik Wynes, Michaela Wynes and Marcia Leitch, The Wynes Facility for Children and Families, Inc. Fund allows the Foundation to support the cause with additional resources and programs needed to assist the children and families of the community.
The John and Betty Hendrick Fund provides a range of support from grants and scholarships to FFA and other community needs.
Director, Scott Jarrett and Executive Coordinator, Jordonne Bostic say they are in the process of networking to add new funds in the near future.
