SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton news) – In a heartwarming display of community generosity, the Allman Family, PracticeLink, and MountainPlex Holiday Celebration held at The McCreery Conference and Event Center in early December brought together about 200 guests for an evening of joy, camaraderie, and philanthropy.

Toys, Food, and Funds Galore:

The true spirit of the season shone brightly as the community rallied to support various local causes. A remarkable 65 toys were donated to benefit the Summers County Toy Fund, ensuring that local children would experience the joy of unwrapping a gift during the holiday season.

Additionally, the community contributed a carload of non-perishable food items to REACHH’s food pantry. The outpouring of support will undoubtedly make a significant impact on families facing food insecurity during the winter months.

In a testament to the community’s generosity, over $900 was raised for a local charitable organization. The Summers County Library received this year’s monetary donation.

Guests of the event were treated to a feast, courtesy of The Market, which catered appetizers and dinner for the celebration. The delectable spread along with music by The Carpenter Ants, added to the festive spirit, creating a memorable evening for all attendees.

The PracticeLink/MountainPlex Holiday Celebration not only showcased the community’s commitment to giving back but also provided a platform for individuals to come together, share in the holiday spirit, and forge lasting connections. It was a night where the joy of celebration filled the McCreery Conference and Event Center.

The impact of this collective effort will be felt by those benefiting from the donated toys, food items, and funds. The The Allman Family, PracticeLink, and MountainPlex  Holiday Celebration serves as a reminder that, in unity, our community can create positive change and spread joy to those in need.
