SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – The Summers County Humane Society/ACWP recently released its first book, “Just for Pets: A Collection of Stories, Recipes & Crafts.” Anyone who makes a donation of $20 or more to the organization after Saturday, Oct. 14 during Railroad Days, can receive one of these books.

According to one of the volunteers with the organization, Gayle Rancer, they are preparing for possible sequels, provided “Just for Pets” is well received.

Summers County ACWP works closely with community officials to rescue animals in need, foster those who need a home and get them to new “furever” homes. This organization is full of willing volunteers who give their time (and sometimes their homes) to help animals. From daily walks to playdates, the animals receive the best care imaginable.

Look for more information about this project on the Hinton News website and in future editions.
