SUMMERS COUNTY (Hinton News) – A fun day was had by all at Beyond Wishes Therapeutic Riding Program, doing different activities with the horses; decorating their horseshoes was so much fun. Other activities were stick horse races, decorating and grooming horses. The children also gave baths and enjoyed some hand painting. Thank you to all who made this possible, teachers, volunteers, instructors, bus drivers and the Board of Education for their permission. Thank you also to Hinton Area Foundation, and Skewes Family Foundation for sponsoring these specialty programs. Beyond Wishes is a local 501©3 nonprofit that offers Equine Assisted Services to individuals with disabilities and special needs. For more information see their Facebook page or call 304 466-0431.
