Hinton’s Hometown Christmas committee invites you to join the Cookie Express this Saturday, December 10, 2022, in Historic downtown Hinton for our Christmas Art Walk! Local artists will be set up from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in restaurants and shops demonstrating their artistic abilities along with selling their art. For just $20 you can purchase a golden ticket for the Cookie Express. As you follow the cookie trail around downtown Hinton, you will not only get to see local artisans at work, but you will also receive a cookie to fill the commemorative tin you will receive along with your golden ticket.
Local shops and Artists participating in Hinton’s Hometown Christmas Art Walk & Cookie Express include: Explore Summers County and Artist Brooklynn Lilly; Otter & Oak and Potter Marsha Springston-Dillon along with Artist Nancy O’Farrell; Lucky Rivers Restaurant and Knitter Elana Emrich; The Market and Artist Danielle Hunt; M & M’s Snack Shack & Family Entertainment and Artist Gary Vaughn; Big-4 Drug Store and Artist Kay Payne; Hinton’s Railroad Museum and Photographer Curt Messer; Detra’s Boutique/ToeTally Polished Nails- a cookie stop; Grandma’s House will have a display of beautiful quilt’s from the 1800s to today; News Stand Antiques & Collectables, Inc., with woodworking by Tanner & Marlena Gill; The Ritz and Jeweler Nina Mills; Botany Tropical with Artist Marilyn Wrenn; Hinton Outfitter’s- a cookie stop; and BOHO with Book Sculptor Jeanette Ratcliffe.
If you have not purchased your golden ticket, please contact Hinton’s Hometown Christmas committee members: Andrea Richmond, Paula Rhodes, Brittany Meadows, Stacy Ford, Heidi Richmond, or Amy Richmond via Messenger. You can also stop by The Magnolia Room Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to pick up your commemorative tin, along with purchasing a golden ticket; however, tickets are limited.
