Bobcats bring home the win in the Battle for the Bluestone

The Summers County Bobcats and the Pikeview Panthers faced off in the Battle for the Bluestone on Friday, Aug. 26, in the first game of the season. After an eventful game, the Bobcats toppled the competition with a final score of 49 to 14.

In a public Facebook post, Coach Evans thanked the fans, marching band and the broadcasting team. He also said, “Great things to come over the next several years!”

Next week, the Bobcats will head to Greenbrier West for their next faceoff with a 1-0.
