Officers with the Summers County Sheriff’s Department and Hinton Police Department went special Christmas shopping on Saturday. Fulfilling the goal to provide a special Christmas to local families, officers purchased toys and items to give to the children of Summers County.
In a social media post, Sheriff Faris thanked all of the residents and businesses who made the project possible. The post further thanks to the officers of HPD and the Team 900 family members who helped with the shopping.
According to Sheriff Faris’ post, officers will be delivering the gifts on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
