FAIRLEA- Jaedyn Funk was announced on Friday as the State Fair 2026 West Virginia Art Contest Winner. 
 
The State Fair of West Virginia’s Facebook Page posted the following:
 
Congratulations to our 2026 State Fair of West Virginia Art Contest Winner, Jaedyn Funk of Wardensville, WV! 
 
An upcoming 11th grader at East Hardy High School, Jaedyn has earned recognition for her artwork throughout the region and is the youngest winner in the history of the State Fair Art Contest.
 
Inspired by animals and nature, Jaedyn plans to attend art school after graduation and continue her creative journey. Congratulations, Jaedyn! We look forward to showcasing your work at the 2026 State Fair of West Virginia.
