Hinton — Hinton Area Elementary is accepting enrollments Aug. 10 – 13 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Parents must bring the child’s shot record and birth certificate.
Sprouting Farms will be setting up at the Summers County Council on Aging every other Friday beginning on Aug. 13. They will be there from noon until 2 p.m. and will be offering their SNAP Stretch discounts.
White Sulphur Springs — Several events will be held in White Sulphur Springs. On Friday, Aug. 13, there will be live music at Big Draft. On Sunday, Aug. 15, there will be a cornhole tournament, also at Big Draft. More events will take place the following week.
Union — A Yard Sale fundraiser is set to be held in downtown Union on Aug. 14 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. All proceeds will go to benefit the Waiteville Community Center.
A Monroe County Back to School Agency Fair will be held on Aug. 12 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Lindside Methodist Church Family Life Center.
Rainelle — The Western Greenbrier Community Market will be held on Aug. 13 between 3:30 and 6 p.m.
