The Summers County Public Library is calling all fans of the Harry Potter universe. For a limited time, the library is offering customized Hogwarts acceptance letters. Requests for these letters will be accepted through August 23.
Since the first book’s release in 1997, fans everywhere have wished to receive that vaunted letter stating that they were accepted into the fictional Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The magical world holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Regardless of whether a person has been a fan since the beginning or only just discovered the wizarding world, one thing unites almost all fans. That is the desire to go to Hogwarts. Now, with a little help (and magic) from the staff at the Summers County Library, you can make that dream come true. Whether you want to send a letter to a loved one or get one for yourself, the library is happy to help.
Time is of the essence to take advantage of this magical opportunity. No requests will be taken after Monday, August 23. Also, there are only 50 slots total for this event. As of the time of writing, 10 of those slots were already filled. A link to sign up for a letter is available on the library’s Facebook page.
For more information call the library at 304-466-4490 and ask for Kris. Remember, don’t let out the secret that librarians are magical. Wouldn’t want the Ministry of Magic to find out everyone knows. But honestly, how else would they always know where all of the books are?
