REACHH-Family Resource Center (REACHH) has been fortunate to partner with Save the Children and the USDA to bring food trucks to Summers County as part of the Farmers to Families food program. Our trucks that came in March and April provided 2,400 boxes of food valued at over $78,000 dollars. Each box contained fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, and dairy products. These boxes are free to anyone who is in need of food, regardless of income.
We will be having another truck on May 7 and hope to have a good turnout for the event. We will be at the Lifeline Church with the event hopefully starting at 1 p.m. We have been successful in delivering all of the meals each time and hope that we have a good turnout for this event. We apologize to anyone that was inconvenienced by the delay last time.
