The Hinton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary delivered baskets to the residents of Main Street, the long-term care facility on the third floor of the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital. Becky Dillon and Janet Adkins said they hoped to add a little cheer to Christmas for 29 patients with gifts of lotion, socks, sweets and a small Christmas tree. Since the auxiliary was formed in 2015 the members have remembered and delivered holiday baskets as a community service. Dillon and Adkins said, “We all try to help when needed in the community”.
