PRINCETON, W.Va. (Hinton News) — WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital (PCH) announced Caden Minnix, DO, has joined the PCH Primary Care team, expanding access to comprehensive primary care services for patients throughout the region.
Minnix is a native of Virginia, having grown up in Bluefield. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Bluefield College.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Minnix offers a wide range of healthcare services:
- Annual checkups and physical exams
- Preventive care services (health education, lifestyle advice, and disease prevention)
- Immunizations
- Health screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer screenings)
- Diagnosis of illnesses
- Treatment of common conditions (colds, infections, minor injuries, allergies)
- Management of chronic diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease)
- Prescription management
