BEREA, KY (Hinton News) — Tania Bond, a standout student from Hinton, West Virginia, continues to distinguish herself at Berea College through academic excellence, national honor society recognition, and student leadership.
Bond was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), the international honor society in education. Reserved for top-performing education students, KDP promotes excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Now, as Vice President, Bond plays a central role in leading the SGA Executive Council, strengthening partnerships with college administration, and ensuring student voices are represented at every level of campus decision-making.
“I believe in using my voice to create spaces where students feel heard, supported, and empowered,” said Bond. “Whether it’s through student government or the classroom, I want to be a force for positive change.”
What makes Bond’s accomplishments especially impressive is that she has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA—balancing a rigorous academic workload with active involvement in student leadership and service.
