BECKLEY, W.Va. (Hinton News) – Angela Rivera has been named Chief Executive Officer/Chief Nursing Officer of Summers County ARH Hospital.
Rivera is no stranger to the facility as she most recently served as Regional Chief Nursing Officer of both Beckley ARH and Summers County ARH.
“Angie has been a valuable part of the ARH team for several years,” said ARH Regional CEO Jeremy Hall. “Her experience, leadership and enthusiasm have had a strong impact on our community, and I am confident that will continue in her new role as CEO of Summers County ARH.”
Rivera said she enjoyed her time in Beckley and looks forward to her new position in Summers County.
“It has been an honor to serve alongside so many talented and dedicated people at Beckley ARH Hospital,” she said. “Together, we have accomplished so many things, and, on a personal level, I have experienced tremendous professional growth because of that.
“Though it’s never easy to leave a place you love,” she continued, “I am excited for this new chapter and opportunity at Summers County ARH, and I look forward to leading the hospital as we grow and continue our commitment to providing the best healthcare to our community.”
Before joining the Beckley ARH team as CNO in 2016, Rivera worked for a large hospital system in San Antonio, Texas, where she spent time in med surg, case management and as an associate nursing officer.
Rivera resides in Daniels with her husband and two children.
