JUMPING BRANCH W.Va. (Hinton News) – Jumping Branch Elementary School released the following statement regarding the reported fire at the school:

“Just want to let everyone know that there was a small fire in the PreK classroom of Jumping Branch Elementary School . Damage was contained to that room and damage was minimal. All the students were safely out and no one was hurt which is most important. We would to thank all the volunteer fire departments for getting here quickly and getting the fire out and protecting our building. Will update about school tomorrow in a little while.”
