SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. – Summers County ARH Hospital recently celebrated a significant milestone: achieving certification as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. This certification, granted by DNV based on standards set by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, signifies the hospital’s commitment to providing timely and effective stroke care.
A ceremony was held to honor this achievement, with speakers including Angela Rivera, Regional Chief Nursing Officer, and Joey Preast, Summers County ARH CEO. The event also featured inspiring testimonials from stroke survivors Nesta Logan and William Jones.
