HINTON, W.Va. (Hinton News) — The Hinton Hope Foundation has launched a new initiative, “Dine Out for Hurricane Victims,” in collaboration with several local restaurants to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts. From Oct. 21 through Oct. 26, participating restaurants will donate a percentage of their sales to support victims of recent hurricanes.

Proceeds from the weeklong event will be donated to the United Cajun Navy, a volunteer organization that provides disaster relief and support in hurricane-affected areas.

Participating restaurants include:

– Aziza Pizza & Subs
– Dairy Queen (Hinton location)
– Kirk’s Restaurant
– El Azteca Mexican Restaurant

Each establishment will contribute a portion of its sales during normal business hours throughout the designated days. Customers can support the cause simply by dining at any of these local spots, knowing that their meal will help provide relief to those impacted by devastating storms.

For more information about the initiative or participating restaurants, contact the Hinton Hope Foundation on Facebook.
