SUMMERS COUNTY, W.Va. (Hinton News) — The Summers County Bobcat Marching Band showcased their talent and hard work by winning five prestigious awards at the Princeton band competition on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The band, competing in Class D, took home first place in percussion, second place in color guard, and second place for their drum majors. Additionally, they earned second place overall in their class and were honored with the Spirit Award, celebrating their enthusiasm and camaraderie.
The Bobcats are set to compete again this Saturday at band competitions hosted by Greenbrier East and Woodrow Wilson High Schools. The community looks forward to supporting them as they aim for more accolades.
