GREEN SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) – A woman was arrested Sunday, Sept. 15, after an alleged domestic incident that reportedly involved a crowbar in Summers County.

Renee Cherise England-Bragg, 48, of Green Sulphur Springs, allegedly swung a crowbar repeatedly at an individual. According to the criminal complaint, the victim, who had returned to his home, stated that England-Bragg’s dogs came onto his property. The victim then reportedly brought food and water for the dogs, prompting England-Bragg to accuse him of attempting to steal them.

The situation escalated when England-Bragg allegedly began swinging the crowbar at the victim, allegedly trying to strike him. She was subsequently arrested and taken to Southern Regional Jail. The incident is still under investigation at the time of writing.

According to the criminal complaint, the responding officer made contact with England-Bragg while on the way to the address where the incident was reported. At that point, the officer reportedly detained England-Bragg and transported her back to the address.

At the time of writing, England-Bragg is not listed as an inmate at Southern Regional Jail.
