HINTON, W.Va. (Hinton News) — The City of Hinton has issued a warning regarding unauthorized attempts to collect vendor application payments for Railroad Days 2024. A statement posted to the official Hinton Railroad Days Facebook page noted that someone has been “illegally attempting to collect Railroad Days vendor application payments.”
The city advises all vendors to make payments directly to The City of Hinton or in person at City Hall. The statement emphasized, “DO NOT pay an individual directly for your vendor application payments.”

If vendors are approached by anyone else seeking payment or see related posts, they are urged to notify the City immediately at 304-466-3255.
