HINTON W.Va. (Hinton News) – A night of laughter is coming to Hinton as the Ritz Theatre hosts a comedy show on August 22. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.
Headlining the event is Seattle-based comedian Andrew Rivers, who has opened for Christopher Titus and is currently on tour with Steve Hofstetter. Rivers has also released several comedy specials, including one on Dry Bar Comedy.
Opening for Rivers is Luke Severeid, a Pittsburgh comedian who recently reached the semifinals of the San Francisco & Seattle Comedy International Comedy Competition.
Local comedian Chase Jobe will host the evening. Jobe, a Hinton native, has been making a name for himself on the comedy circuit and was a finalist in the Caravan Comedy Contest in Louisville, Kentucky, earlier this year.
