PIPESTEM, W.Va. (Hinton News) – For those who work hard and have days filled with obligations, a nice break for fun and freedom can be found at Pipestem Adventures.

It’s almost impossible to be stress-filled when you are flying through the treetops on the zipline at 40 miles per hour. Imagine the view from 300 feet as you sail down the Bluestone Gorge. Pipestem Peaks Zipline Tours provides this euphoric experience.

Skeet shooting and axe throwing are perfect ways to relieve stress and turn on fun. These two endeavors also allow you to test your skills or learn something new. Visit the Adventure Zone for these two activities plus seven more fun adventures.

Pure joy can be found on the electric motor-assisted bikes. The e-bikes allow you to cruise all over scenic Pipestem State Park with ease to take in the sites or ride to the Almost Heaven Swing which provides the perfect photo moment.

It’s not difficult to find fun and relaxation at Pipestem Adventures. There’s more fun than can be had in one day, so consider a stay at the newly renovated McKeever Lodge, then plan a second day of laser tag, swimming in the lake, playing with remote control cars, archery, disc golf and much more. Also available at Pipestem are hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, golfing (on 9- and 18-hole courses) and rock climbing. To top things off, the Mountain Serenity Spa at the lodge is the ultimate in stress relief.

The zipline is open until the end of October. Pipestem Adventures’ activities are open through Labor Day — with many available by reservation until October 31.

More information is available at PipestemAdventures.com.

Reservations for Pipestem Adventures are available by calling 1-833-WV-Parks (1-833-987-2757) or visiting wvstateparks.com.
