GREEN SULPHUR W.Va. (Hinton News) – A Virginia woman lost her life in a fatal crash that occurred in the Green Sulphur area of Summers County on Saturday, Feb. 3. Local emergency services and the West Virginia State Police responded. The WVSP released the following information:

“On Saturday, February 3, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., Cpl. N.C. Boothe and S/Tpr. Z.A. Hatfield responded to I-64 at the Green Sulphur Springs exit on the report of a single-car rollover with entrapment. Upon arrival, these Troopers began life-saving measures with the assistance of an uninvolved witness until such time that EMS. could arrive on scene. The victim, identified as 31-year-old Kristina Robinson of North Dinwiddie, Virginia, did succumb to her injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.”
