SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – Classic Hits 98.3FM is passionate about recognizing the achievements of talented individuals within the community. To that end, the radio station has introduced not one but two contests that showcase the best in local sports talent: “Cheerleader of the Week” and “Athlete of the Week” competitions.
Cheerleader of the Week Contest:
Classic Hits 98.3FM understands the power of cheerleaders in boosting team spirit and adding excitement to sporting events. The Cheerleader of the Week contest aims to honor and uplift the cheerleaders who are the true champions of motivation and support. The station wants to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and dedication these young cheerleaders bring to the field.
Athlete of the Week Contest:
From pre-K to high school, the Athlete of the Week contest celebrates the exceptional athletes who astound the community with their skills and sportsmanship. These young stars inspire the community with their dedication to their craft and the positive impact they make on and off the field. Classic Hits 98.3FM wants to support the growth and development of local sports talent.
Each week, community members can nominate students for these contests on Classic Hits 98.3FM’s Facebook page. Look for the contest images and post the nominee’s name, team, and any additional information participants want to share. Nominees are chosen at random from all participants.
