SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – Behind every successful student is an exceptional teacher. These teachers put their whole hearts into shaping young minds and getting them to love learning. Classic Hits 98.3FM is excited to announce the return of its “Teacher of the Month” contest to honor these unsung stars and celebrate the vital work they do.

At Classic Hits 98.3FM, the staff believes in the power of recognition and the effect it can have on educators and their communities. Through the Teacher of the Month award, the station wants to highlight those teachers who go above and beyond to make a difference in their student’s lives. This contest recognizes the great work of these teachers.

Nominating your favorite teacher for the Teacher of the Month contest is simple: Go to hits98.fm/

Fill out the form and tell us about the teacher you want to select. Be sure to talk about how your nominee helped their students, how they used new ways to teach, and any other amazing stories. When you click “Submit,” you’re done. The deadline for nominations is the last day of each month, and the winner will be announced the following Monday.

The Teacher of the Month contest is open to all full-time teachers in Southern West Virginia. From kindergarten to college, we welcome nominations for teachers across all subjects and grade levels. All teachers are eligible for this award.

Let’s celebrate education and those who make it possible—the teachers!
