HINTON, (Hinton News) – According to a recent announcement, the City of Hinton has received $500,000 from a “Congressionally Directed Spending request secured by Senator Joe Manchin III.”
The announcement further states the funds will be used for the Batteau Beach project at Hinton Landing. The project will kick off in the spring.
In the City of Hinton’s statement, thanks were issued to Senator Manchin. It said, “Thank you, Senator Manchin, for working to secure this investment that will benefit us West Virginians for years to come!”
