The Summers County Toy Fund will receive a $725 check from MountainPlex Properties businesses. The Market on Courthouse Square, Otter & Oak, and The Ritz Theatre sold paper angels during their Christmas in July event and during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The paper angels were sold for $1 each and were hung in the windows. Thanks to community support, they raised over $700 that will be given to the Summers County Toy Fund. Each year the Summers County Toy Fund helps over 200 Summers County children and impacts over 100 families. Anyone can donate online at hintonareafoundation.org.
