A Summers County man is dead following a mobile home fire in the Pence Springs area. According to a press release from the West Virginia State Fire Marshal, the victim was a 75-year-old man, and the incident occurred on Jan. 17.
The press release further states that the cause of the fire is “undetermined based on the severity of the fire.” The victim’s remains have been transported to the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office in Charleston for an autopsy and to obtain positive identification.
