SUMMERS COUNTY – (Hinton News) – According to a recent announcement, Mon Power has scheduled a planned power outage for Tuesday, Dec. 27, for multiple areas, beginning around 8 a.m. According to the statement, customers in Hinton, Forest Hill, Talcott, Wayside, Pence Springs and Alderson will be affected.
All affected customers should have received a call, text or email based on their contact settings to let them know about the planned outage.
In the event of inclement weather, the backup date for the outage is Thursday, Dec. 29.
