“Bailey is a smart, hard-nosed player that is extremely versatile. She can attack the paint to create shot opportunities for herself and her teammates as well as extend the defense by making 3-point shots. Bailey is a competitor and a hard worker that will do whatever it takes to make the team better. ~Waverly High School Coach John Bonifield

“Bailey is a kid that can do a lot of different things on the basketball court. Handle the ball, rebound, score, defend, shoot it from 3… she’s like a swiss army knife . She possesses a lot of different skills . But outside of being a very talented basketball player, Bailey is a great kid. She takes care of her grades in the classroom. Being a student athlete, student comes first. She understands that and takes pride in her education. One of Bailey’s best qualities is her leadership ability. She just has a way to get others to follow her. She has come into our program at Waverly (and with the Arctic Rush program) and instantly gained the respect of her teammates. Not only because of her basketball abilities but by being who she is as a person. She’s put in a ton of work to get to this point. This opportunity is well deserved for her. Bailey Vulgamore is going to have a great career!” ~Arctic Rush AAU Coach/Assistant Coach, Waverly High School, Mark Hannah

“Congratulations!!! It was a pleasure coaching Bailey this past spring. All of her hard work and dedication has paid off. I am super proud of Bailey and her accomplishments. WVU Tech is blessed to have a player like Bailey Vulgamore on their roster! Good luck and Go Golden Bears!” ~Arctic Rush AAU Coach Jason Whiteaker

“I cannot think of a better way to begin our 2023 signing class than with a player, person, and student the caliber of Bailey Vulgamore! Her versatility is a definite strength. When I watched her Arctic Rush AAU team play, she was used as a stretch 4. When watching her high school team, she played all of the perimeter positions. Most importantly, she plays all positions extremely well! Bailey is blessed to have wonderful people who are very capable coaches guiding her development. Her Waverly High School coaching staff of John Bonifield and Mark Hannah have done an unbelievable job preparing her for the next level. Jason Whiteaker and Mark Hannah (quite a statement of commitment for Coach Hannah to be involved in helping kids in both scholastic and AAU basketball) of Arctic Ruch Basketball have also been great advocates for Bailey and worked very hard with her in the offseason. I am looking forward to seeing how Bailey grows during her senior high school season and can’t wait to coach her next year!” ~Roger Hodge, Head Women’s Basketball Coach WVU Tech
