The City of Hinton would like to announce the Historic Freight Depot, located at 509 Commercial Avenue, in the Historic District of Hinton, has re-opened and is available for rental. The Freight Depot was closed for much of the past year due to the collapse of the Hardwood Building’s back wall. As the wall of the Hardwoods Building was restored and the roof repaired to the Freight Depot, the City has begun booking holiday parties, weddings, baby showers and bridal showers, class reunions, or most any type of event in the approximate 4,000 square feet historic building.

For more information on rental, please contact City Hall at 304-466-3255, and ask for Amy Richmond.
