A Summers County man has been arrested following two alleged thefts. After investigating two separate incidents, police recently arrested Jacob Ryan Beavers, 23. Beavers is facing both a felony and a misdemeanor charge.
According to the criminal complaint for the first incident, a report was filed stating that an individual had broken into the victim’s garage. The victim allegedly received a call from an individual stating Beavers had broken into his garage. Upon arriving at the location, the victim noted several items missing, including a weed eater, air compressor and other similar items. According to the complaint, the estimated total value of the missing goods is $1100.
Reportedly, officers located one of the items at a nearby residence. The occupant allegedly stated that they had purchased the item from Beavers.

The criminal complaint for the second incident states that the victim contacted authorities after motion detectors on their property were set off. Photos were reportedly taken when the motion sensors were activated. According to the criminal complaint, officers identified Beavers in said photos entering the property empty-handed and leaving carrying two gas cans.
Allegedly, another individual advised the responding officer that Beavers had taken the cans to another residence. According to the criminal complaint, the officer located one gas can at the reported location.
At the time of writing, Jacob Beavers is in Southern Regional Jail on a $3,500 bond.
