Hold on to your steel-driving hammers! John Henry Days, the beloved local festival, is finally returning after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The official John Henry Days social media account released a statement that the weekend-long event is scheduled for July 8 – 10.
The festival Planning Committee held a public meeting on Feb. 17 to finalize additional details for the event. As of Feb. 9, they are looking for interested individuals to join the committee.
